Post your skin problem here and let's help each other out solve that skin problem! :)

I'll start. Before, I usually had red bumps on my chin which were cystic acne. I didn't know where I got those but they hurt so bad when I had them. I used several treatments before, from benzoyl peroxide to emu oil but nothing seemed to work. Recently, I have introduced myself to water therapy. And I don't have my pimples now! So my advise to all, try drinking a lot of water everyday as it flushes out all the bad stuff from the body. Also, it helps maintain our face from secreting too much oil. Before trying out any medication, try out water therapy first! It's the cheapest and most effective way I believe. Hope this helps! :D

Btw, with my water intake, I use Olay facial wash, the one for blemished/oily skin. It goes hand in hand with my water consumption. :D

i drink water but i dun like it x.x

i also have acne prone skin, much of what you said jess.

i get some on my upper back and chest but mostly my face

ive been to so many dermatologists and have used so many meds,

even oral ones, but now i dont. i still use creams/gels

i just wash my face with better-feeling cleansers

and use a prescribed one that im not sure helps,

but "clean and clear" over-the-counter facial gel med. helps--

it dries the pimple up, shrinks it, and takes the redness away.

dermatologists never helped me much...ive had it for years...

been to the best doctors in New York...=_=; sad actually. Hrmph.

I have pretty bad acne but I'm lucky and its usually only on my face, and a little bit on my back. I don't drink much water(which I know I should, living in the desert and all) So I think I'll give this a try! Thanks, I never would have thought of it :o I'll let you know in a couple of weeks how that is going :)

Avoiding greasy food also helped me, along with water therapy. :3 Also, I noticed that if I'm eating a lot of whole fruit, it helps a littler with my acne...I just eat Edy's Fruit Popcicles with whole fruit in them, and it helped my skin, I think, because my acne started to go away after about 2 weeks of eating a couple a day. :D
You're so beautiful!

What is water therapy? O: I've heard of it - is it just when you drink lots of water? xD

As for me, I used to have perfect skin, but recently, I've been getting some pimples - on my forehead. I've tried some cream my dermatologist recommended, but it only worked for a little while - and now it's back again. Dx For my face wash, I'm using Shiseido - Pure. Which acne products really work? And how long does it usually take for it to work? C:
Thanks so much^^''

Some people find that using Aloe Vera Gels (as in applying it over your scar before your go to sleep) works (but it works over time; you'll have to apply it once everyday to your scar). You could try that.

please help me!!! i am getting disgusting scars and such from my horribly acne-ridden face :(

(though i have chronic acne problem...all the time, starting since 4th grade and now im in my second year of college :'( !...)

i drink some water, mostly before bed..

and ive used different topical medicines/creams, but none have been effective! especially in the long run! same for face washes and cleansers... my skin gets used to them to the point they don't work at all or are only bad for it because some don't wash off so well (you can feel it) and they barely work to begin with! same with the topical medicines--my skin gets used to them.

im really really broken out and its horrible :( i dont know what to do :'( i dont want to show my face to any guys i like or in general please please help!

i am open to listening to all suggestions here... thank you! x{

name any cleansers or treatments or medicines you have found particularly effective too, please... i've even gotten special facials, laser acne treatment, and they don't work... :( !!!.......

I Used to have a ton of acne but not so much anymore. I use Clearasil's stuff, Acne facewash, acne pads, and clearasil's acne spot cream. If I don't wash twice a day I get a least one pimple though, but other then that I don't get any acne. My back though is a whole different story. my whole back had acne. I drank a lot of water, didn't eat or drink anything that had milk in it and ate lots of fruits and now two months later I have almost no acne on my back
I Will goth it up!
