ok, I really want to get a lolita blouse, but my "untrained" lolita eyes cannot determine which brand will be good for a blouse. In your experience, which stores have the most comfy and cutest design?

I don't have a LOT of experience with blouses, as I only have two, but the popular option is to buy from [Anna House!] - click the link to go there~ They are very cheap & make their blouses in a variety of styles & sizes. They are based in Hong Kong, and all prices are in Hong Kong dollars, so it looks really expensive, but once you convert the prices, its really cheap! I am planning on buying a long sleeved blouse from there soon! :3~ Some others might say Bodyline - but I have a blouse from there and it isn't very comfortable at all, but I don't know, maybe its just the particular blouse I bought. Plus unless you are going to buy a heap more stuff from there, the postage is so expensive & isn't worth it! [Bodyline!]

Anna House is guaranteed the best quality for the lowest price. I got mine for around $30 and was so pleased with the materials and details ♥ I don't recommend Bodyline blouses, they're not such a comfortable material... Metamorphose and Baby have nice blouses too ^^ Baby's designs can be quite extravagent but their buttons are not always sewn on very firmly. My detachable sleeves button came undone and I lost one Q__Q;!

I am like twice as big as you Kyutie, so shopping for blouses I find that metamoru tends to be more generous for use taller/larger girls... But BABY is really catching up quickly with their L size.
When I first met her, Mrs. Isobe told me that the L size might be too small for me, BUT I happen to be wearing my L size Baby blouse now. It is a little snug, but it fits. Now if I had a big chest, it would be a problem.
Yesterday, the SF store manager was in the office, and she was trying on a lot of blouses... She finally got some but it took some time. Although I am twice as big as she, her chest measurements was causing some problems.
Sizing is one issue BABY is really trying to address as a company. That is what half of my NHK interview was about. BABY is getting a lot better... and now that the store is opening in America, the company is going to get even better!!
I find Innocent World to be pretty small.. and Angelic to be TINY
Metamoru is the best as far as larger sizes go Followed by BABY Innocent world would be a trailing third Angelic hasn't done anything
I am TOTALLY looking forward to taking you LOLITA shopping when you are in Japan in November. I am very very very excited : )

This might sound a bit insane... but have anyone seen a sleeveless blouse? You see, I really love the poof sleeve and all but short sleeve is too cold and long sleeve is always in the way when I'm doing something, therefore i prefer 3/4 sleeve, (which bloses don't have), so therefor I always use cardigans. I love cardigans, they're so comfy! However I think it's so pretty to have a blouse underneth and you can see the cute little round collar... but then the poofy sleeves is a problem. My cardigans don't have enough space for an extra sleeve. Should I buy a blouse and remove the sleeves? As long as i use it combined with a cardigan it will look good, but it still feels a bit wrong :P mutilate a nice blouse like that feels immoral :P

I really really feel like we need to bring up this topic again :) It's been a year and i still havn't bought a blouse ^^ oh well! I almost forgot! I just received a blouse from Dear Celine. It's pretty with ruffles and buttons and it's comfortable. (they make custom sizes). But I'm still looking for a shirt with lace details. Also! I'm looking for a short sleeved blouse where the sleeves aren't tiny. I think on so many blouses the sleeves are so small the hardly even reach below the armpit :/ I want it to reach to in the middle between the shoulder and elbow. I forgot to tell, I had two blouses from F+F once. Their quality was great but the sizes messed up :( They were way too big for me so i sold them. blouses are jungle -.-

Hm, I´m interested in buying blouses as well...I´m probably going to end up just using regular ones I find in stores, rather than lolita ones with lots of ruffles and such, but it IS nice to have a specifically lolita blouse or two.... I own a Bodyline blouse....the size is slightly too big for me, but it´s adjustable, so.....but still, the collar is much larger than it was in the pictures, so i´m not quite happy with it. Like others have said, shipping is expensive if you´re only buying that blouse...if you´re buying other things too, however, it might compensate. I also own a black Angelic Pretty longleeeved blouse.....lolitagirl is right, they´re SMALL! I mean, if I didn´t have such a small chest size...it´d be hard to fit into...the problem I really have with it itis that the sleeves themselves are a bit tight. Considering that my friends always joke about my twiggy arms, I find that a bit sad. The length of the blouse is about right, which is more than I can say about the AP cutsew I own, which is so short on me I will never be able to wear it as a regular top. I will definitely have to check out Dear Celine and Anne House then.

I have one bodyline blouse. It's a bit snug and it annoys me :( It got shirring, but i always think boylines shirring is too stiff/hard/tight somehow. And it's so tight around the armpits - I get crazy having a ton of fabric and lace there :( Also bought a blouse from Dear Celine. This one is very comfortable and great in the size! I wish to buy another one from Dear Celine, in a different style because i think Dear Celine is very reliable, however i yet have not found the style i'm searching for.

Thanks for bringing this topic back up Zeruda. I recently bought new blouses from Angelic Pretty via shopping service sale. I must say they are really really cute -- but the cutsew is really really short. I mean, it shows my belly if I wore low rise jeans. I think cut sews are meant to be worn with lolita skirts/jsks. The blouse is really nice, it fits me nicely. I don't really know what size it is but I think its a XS or S. I was comparing my AP blouse with my bodyline blouse -- quality are somewhat similar I must admit. But the main difference is the LACE. AP's lace seems much softer and its more detailed with its designs.
