I bought balloons shaped like hearts, teehee ^^

I also bought a rose (plastic), it's placed in a vase full of heart shaped chocolate in red paper :)

I will secretly decorate the apartment while bf is at work and surprise him when he gets home! ^^

If there was, in my home, a genuine interest to celebrate a day dedicated to love, I would do everything, the whole shabang.
Like, luxury breakfast, a day spent together doing something nice (whatever really), a well cooked meal in the evening, watch a movie, cuddle, have fun. If I had a bathtub, bath together with lit candles or something corny like that.

Buuuuuut, the only hopeless romantic in this house is me, so I guess I'll just... play with my kid, eat some chocolate and takatakatak-away on my keyboard the rest of the evening. :/

"It's all in my head" I said, banging a piano
'I've not been so alone' I thought, 'since kicking in the womb'
I drank so much tea, I wrote my letters in kanji
Around the block I walked, and walked,
pretending you were with me...

I bought my bf cuff links :) i couldn't think of anything else. I hope he likes them.

He's been really into cuff links lately, even if he don't own a shirt, neither a suit XD

Nah, I tried before. I was told it was a waste of money and only a day invented for commercial goods, and that I could pretend the flowers I had bought was for me instead. :) Makes you kind of want to not do anything again.

I really suggest a sweet chocolate cake though! :D And strawberries. <3
I hope you and Lighto have fun. x3

And those are very very nice! :D I bet he'll love them!

My husband is taking me to an Italian restaurant and I shall be avoiding the garlic and onions. We are going out on the Saturday before Valentines instead of the actual day. It works out better because it is halfway between Valentines and the anniversary of when we first got together (not our wedding anniversary but still a very special date) which was on the 2nd. We have been together for 6 years now!

I got him a card and a box of truffles.
