So, I've liked the decora style for a while now, But I can't quite grasp the concept. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with some pointers.

1.)wear alot of accesoiers(spelled wrong XD)

2.)be colorful or stick with one color like pink derco or something

3.)always be pround of ur outfit :)

your techniqually DECORA your self up like (decorating yourself) ive done it a few, just have a certain Theme to go along with what your wearing

try to do a bit of every color the more colors the more you stand out trust me, i cosplay in newyork city and lots of people stop and take pictures its all about having the right items hello kitty and sanrio are a must if you want to be noticed but also put in your own touch i make my own pins and hair clips sometimes using clay and small safe metal parts if your original in your decora style you'll look fabulous!! ^_^ ~kusumi

It's about being like a walking decoration.

There's a lot of layering...Like, two tutus over leggings with tall socks and legwarmers. Hair accessories are really important, you have to have a lot of them. The best way to do this is to put them in your bangs. Often, you wear pigtails.

The idea is to have your entire body accessorized, so it's also great to wear fingerless gloves, and bracelets, and things. There's dark decora, pink decora, and rainbow decora.

Something you can do is accessorize with things taht aren't meant to be worn. Like, attach candy wrappers, stuffed animals, and toys to your belts and necklaces and such.

A lot of decoras, like myself, want to have playful hair as well, so we use wigs, so we always have hair that goes with our outfits.
