Nicki Minaj calls herself a harajuku barbie.

i dont like her period....her clothes and her music to me is just horrible but that's just my opinion

I like her music. i wouldnt call her the Harajuku barbie. not one bit. not to be racist but shes black and not very barbie or harajuku.   she does have attudie that i really dislike, but its what makes her, her.

I've seen a LOT of photos of her and I don't really see any "harajuku" in her style at all. Not only that, but her music is pretty rotten too.

She's an american rapper/singer who has an outlandish style and threrfore considers herself a Harajuku barbie.

I personally don't really care. Sometimes I feel for her cause she has a lot of haters, but when you look at it she has put herself in that position. I do like a couple of her songs, honestly the way she raps is too much. I prefer her singing cause she can actually sing.

I think Lil'Mama makes a much better Harajuku rapper...she's been seen out and about in Angelic Pretty. ^_^

I looked her up beside I had never heard of her, but.. she looks no where near Harajuku...nor Barbie for that manner...It is like an insult to both things. 

She doesn't really dress in any sort of Harajuku way that is known. ANd just wearing one bright color doesn't make you "harajuku"  Just putting on a hotpink puffy cocktail dress with straight cut bangs and having big boobs doesn't make you Harajuku or barbie. Ffff, anyway - It erks me when people, even more so celebs, claim to be something yet... no where near.

She never free styles == really there are so many superior female rappers out there. Although I really like the dirty style rapping, not going to lie. I love it over the top.

But on to the real topic... Really doesn't she fit the idea of 'harajuku.' You don't need to put on what anyonje else wants, just do exactly what you like.

I know who she is, and Im not crazy about her music! But seeing her fashion I get the 'Harajuku Barbie' idea! I just dont think she reaches the extremes that they do. So no she doesn't get the title. (Sorry Nicki!) But she does look like a slutty barbie to me

Nicki Minaj + Asian Fashionista = Epic Fail 

i love her and i do like some of her music but i don't think she really knows what harajuku means or how to use it
