I got my delivery!
Well, I'm not pleased to say I placed this order in mid january and it showed up today, THREE months later! God, dream of lolita are TERRIBLY slow!
Communication with clobba has been good. They have replied to every angry letter I have written :P They told me it took so long because 1. chinese new year. 2. custom order.
However, they still messed up my size!! I'm very upset!! I asked for the dress to be 103 cm long and the one i got was only 95! I payed extra to have it longer and i also waited longer, yet what do i get!?
I'm SUPER ANNOYED.
I don't know if to blame dream of lolita or clobba for this. Clobba told me they had receive a whole bunch of dresses that got mixed up and they had to sort it. So it's possible DoL acctually made my dress according to my measuremnts but Clobba sorted the dressed wrong, and someone else received my dress.
I think that clobba should have noticed that my dress were too short if they sorted it. I think they kinda have a responsibily to check the orders so everything is right before they send them out. I don't know if it's a misuderstanding between clobba and DoL or of if it's just carelessness.
Anyway.
The quality of the dress is so-so. I think the print is surprisingly very well made, especially if i look at the motif around the bottom of the dress, however they have messed up the blue squares in some places. The color is a bit... how do i say.. patchy? There's a stroke of this bleacher checkers in the fabric. The also appear on the ties. I would guess i was unlucky and just got a bad role of fabric, cus everything else is great.
The dress itself is well sewn and very pretty. It fit's great even if it's shorter than i want it. The lace is to be expected not super fine, but i like the fact that it's a more yarn type rather than the synthic ones I truly hate.
I also ordered a strawberry bag. I looks very nice and it'c omfortable to wear. It feels very similar to my old clock bag so i think this will last just as good as my clock one :)
So... for a little resume:
The items are worth the money, but not the time in my opinion. Remember to order summer dresses in winter and the oposite to receive the items in the right season.
If you like me buy replicas just becasue they offer other sizes than the brands you might be disppointed.
If you don't mind waiting and don't change favorite style and color too often it might be worth a shot.
Only place an order unless you're sure you won't be moving the next three months.
