I can't ask you the price because it certainly changes between countries If you have a picture? of your tatoo, please submit it !!! I need some news ideas : here is the tatoo i'm thinking about => On the wrist
Some Advices ? Some Warnings ? Xoxo, D.

i wouldn't say it hurts, but then again - i rarely find anything really painful. it is what it is - one little needle driven in again and again in your skin, n after a while you'll get sore n the needle will poke at you again. - tips thought, don't eat anything right before the tatoo is going on, in case the pain should bother you. ^^ i have a tatoo on my wrist (will not be getting any more, cuz i have this thing about balance - if i got one more, i would need to ink my whole body n i dont want that.. i think. THERE IS SUPERCUTE COLORFUL ~8-BIT NINTENDO TATOOS OUT THERE IN THE WORLD! X'3) however, when looking back i should have taken my time finding a totooartist i REALLY liked and INSISTED he or she do the tattoo, no matter how long i would have to wait. when i got my tatoo, i went to this shop i had looked up on the internet, talked to the guy i kinda admired for his clean lines, but then i got an apprentice of him. that guy - i swear, i didn't want to pay him after he was done. first up - the fitting. (where the tatoo is going on your body, in my case the wrist) he was putting it on the side of the wrist, n i had to correct him several times for it to be in the middle. (i basically but the "sketch" on myself in the end) (-_-)' next up, the position of YOU. since i had my tatoo on the wrist i thought i was going to stay put in the chair (also worried if he could actually pull it off) - but no. i had to lie down. like, wtf why?! (>_<) he was answering his cellphone (personal calls, might i remind you), running out and in n consulting new customers, running out talking to his collegues while working on my tatoo - and that's NOT ok. i felt very worried. then, when he said: "ok, it's done. take a look" i wasn't quite happy. it's a black, simple tatoo. like a "U" n a little "c" inside it (the logotype of swedens biggest anime/manga/game convention uppcon ^^'), and it wasn't fully black, as in - "missed a spot" - which i told him. i don't know if he was very tired of me (horrible horrible costumer XD), but he totally didn't listen and made one side of the "U" LONGER. like - WTF F?! D'X (remember my "thing" for balance? D'8) so i wasn't very happy at the time. not really happy after, n now i come to accept it. XD it's such a small tatoo as well, it's kinda becomes like a part of your body you rarely think about. just make sure you KNOW WHAT YOU WANT (and i kinda think it's ok for it to be something you want NOW, and not think in the terms, I'm GONNA WEAR IT A LIFETIME!! - it becomes like a momento. i mean, i wont go to uppcon for the rest of my life - it's a little blah alread ^^' - but i'll remember it to be something i really loved. and it dosn't have to be like "OOH its symbolic for my blah blah.. it can be just a pretty decoration beacuse you want it. *nod nod*) n that you have a tatooartist that respect you and RESEARCH THE SUNOFA* before, ok? ^^ if i had done that, i would have gone elsewhere. n let it take time. n.. uhm.. *thinking really hard* well. that's it for now i guess. or, that i think is most important. know you always have a say in what goes on your body (or where), even if they are the experts. they should consult you, not ignore you n do whatever THEY want. good luck to you! : D sorry for the long "blah-blahblah" post :s

I dont have a tattoo or anything, but I suggest you have a picture of it on a wall that you see every day and leave it there for a few months, if you still love it after that long then cool. If not, then maybe it's a pretty darn bad idea...

my sister has a tattoo...its on her like waist or something its a jaguar clawing out of her skin with flowers i love it! uhm its faded now but whatever ANYWAY in my peronal opinion be absolutely postive because my sister was crying out in pain and agony and wouldnt sit still at first(because it was on her bone and the needle is really painful) she was told to lay down also my sister picked that spot because its a place that no one can see when your working and it only shows in a bikini or something yeah thats all :D btw I LOVE THAT TATTOO i really like it behind the ear i recently watched the movie domino and she had a gold fish tattoo me and my mom agreed it was pretty sick

I have a few mates that are tattoo artists, okay behind the ear im not going to lie it is going to hurt depends on your pain thresh hold. most painfull places they've said to me is feet, hands, stomach and right down your spine, but that one isnt very fleshy so yeah..its not a very big one or too detailed so you maybe be able to hack it. Next year im booking to get part of my arm done, cant waitttt

here are mine means Tiger on my left shoulder blade my nick name my dad gave me with my old and his initials my wedding date (hubby has the same in blue) stars on muh face i would say do NOT get any on your face...it was the biggest mistake of my life! i lost my job and have to cover it in order to get a new one if i ever do...... just look around at all the shops dont just settle for the first one you find....and really make sure its something you want...if its something in another language really research it and make sure its correct.... the most painful place would be anywhere theres not much meat...people will say it doesnt hurt..thats a lie lol but i like the pain and not everyone does...best place to put it is where you can easily hide it....and yes have a picture if you can!

Do-Chan: That's so sad that you lost your job over that! Your tattoo is beautiful! :( My heart's breaking a little on the inside! *big hug*
I want to get a couple of tattoos. I'm afraid of it hurting, 'cuz I have a pretty big intolerance for pain. A friend of mine got one recently in between her shoulders and she said it did hurt, but she was able to sit through it without screaming and crying (and it wasn't exactly the world's smallest tattoo).
One thing that I would suggest is that you pick a design that means a lot to you. A tattoo will be with you forever, so you have to make sure that you can not only see it everyday and still love it, but also that you will still be happy with it and what it stands for in twenty, thirty, forty years. :)

I have to disagree with this, my friend is a tattoo, piercist and general body-modder and he told me off when I hadn't eaten before he pierced my ear over the summer. Apparently you should always eat before a body mod as otherwise your body may go in to some sort of shock from loss of blood / pain or whatever. It's better to throw up than to be dizzy, fall unconscious and various other things in both mine and his opinions. Maybe not a full meal, and not just before the body mod, but you need something in you - I just had a mars bar and a couple of doughnuts and sit around for half an hour before he would let me have it.
I am considering tattoos, but my friend won't let me have one until I'm 100% sure on what I want (he's so great :'D) I want lyrics from my fave band and a quote from Alexander McQueen for sure but I've been dithering about where to get them :)

Personally, I think tattoos can be so amazing! I already know a few that I'm going to get:
~ some sort of quote on top of my right foot, in black lettering, not very fancy, just plain and simple.
~ the motif of the first video game I work on (my career goal is to be a game designer!), behind my left ear, not very big at all, so it's not really obvious.
~ when I get married, I'll get something on my ring finger, probably on the bottom of the finger. Probably the Latin word for love, or if I marry a foreign man, I'll get the word for love in his first language.
~ after marriage, again, on our first anniversary, I'll get something to represent me and my husband, like some sort of image. It'll go on the left side of my back, about midway down my back.
That's all I have planned for now. No huge tattoos, just small ones. I think tattoos can be beautiful, but natural skin is just as beautiful too.
I think that music notes tattoo is really cool! That's a good spot for that sort of tattoo, too.
