I Love the Visual Kei, Gothic and Punk Clothing. But in summer it doesn't seem to be very practical. A lot(Note: i didnt say all of em ) of the clothing is very layered, thick or bulky. I come from a hot and humid place. not the hottest place in the world but when it gets to like 32 Deg C(89.6 Deg F) i don't think it would be advisable to where such Heavy clothing. So I need your help. I need some advice on These styles of clothing and using em in summer. You can also use pics or links to help explain maybe even sketches you drew. Note: Im new to dressing like this and i wanna stock my wardrobe with the rite clothes for me.
Imagine Wearing:
This
and this
On a hot summers day HOT!! Note Fabric and colour can come into play

You could try skirts, or shorts. I am sure you can find some really nice visual kei shorts. Also you could try a thinner fabric for your top, such as a blouse or something. I am not an expert on visual kei but I hope this gives you some idea (: perhaps you can find your own take on the visual kei clothing? xx

xD It's true that a lot of VK && Gothic is layered .. :p Punk lolita, or punk in general isnt as layered as the other two above though . ^ ^ Sex Pot Revenge (is expensive but worth it) has a good range of non-layered, not longsleaved/short clothing. ^^ A good example would be the Leather visual kei look .. a lot of it is shortsleaved. ^^ Unlike the more '' Aristocrat ''-type of visual kei look, it does not involve too much '' long-ness '' xD
