i dont think you should stop doing what you love (dressing loli) just because someone 'says' that you are to old, that is just an opinion. if you dont think that you've outgrown it, then that shouldnt be the thing that stops you.

They're just jealous, cus they had to grow up so fast :) And as long as you know how to prioritize it's totally OK :) (means don't choose to spend your evening with your plush when you have a friend who need a shoulder to cry on)

Never too old! If it's something you love then you never grow out of it.

I'm 20 and I love being "a child" and will never "grow up"

Seriously I squee over HK and watch Phineas and Ferb every single day. I love unicorns and fluffy things. I still have all my stuffed toys and never plan on giving them up (will probably get more most likely)

It's your life so if you wanna be lolita or simply stay with a young sense of style then do it.

i understand parents wont get it, eastern culture and its fashions has only become more aparent to western knowledge because of internet developing, and genral people trying to break the boundries of past styles. Parents have grown up through certain fashion waves growing up  and some grow out of it because of jobs and responsibilites, and enviroment. Therefore relating themselves growing out of it and taking a certain direction in life, to you, its not a bad thing im sure, just  wanting to to 'face reality' as they say, but thats completely naive, cause clothes arn't going to effect your decisions in what your going to do in life, its healthy you've found a hobby like this, its creative, imaginative, confidence building and you are still very young. Nah its not fair my mum doesnt get it, she sees it a mulitlating my natural beauty, but its an expression form that i know im not going to grow out of, im going on 20 in under a year. My dad, is 40 and he is the most mental looking person i know with pink flares and blue beards and 5cm nose rings. Its inspiring and refreshing that a young person can choose such a unique lifestyle, so keep going:)

Oh please. you're NEVER too old for fashion! I'm seventeen and I can't sleep unless I have my Kiryu plushie, Kaneko cat, and my chocobo in bed with me XD You're only too old when you yourself think you're too old. So, until then, tell American society to go fart in a hat and be as cute as you wish!
