Okay, now i've calmed down enough to actually sit still for any length of time its time for my review xD
Yes, I know there's a bajillion Bodyline reviews, but my dress is one of their new designs that i haven't seen reviewed yet, and i also bought a bodyline wig which i know people are curious about as to the quality of them.
Its also my first lolita purchase so I'm dying to show it off :3
I apologize for the quality of the photos, i don't own the best camera ever, and the lighting here is weird - its too dark inside the house and too bright outside it xD
So here I go.
First off, here's the website images of what i bought...
The Dress - Size 2L for $62
The Wig in black - $31 (i also bought one of their wig caps for $1)
The socks i bought are no longer listed on the site, i guess they must have sold out - I only bought them because i thought they were cute and they were only $5
And here's what i received this morning:
The DHL packaging - there's nothing too 'delicate' in this purchase so i'm not bothered that its not in a box.
The famous bodyline clothing bags - I know everyone has seen these but.....*squee* they really are lovely, i was so happy to have them in person xD
Even the socks came in a mini bodyline bag!
The wig and wig cap - the wig is in a plastic bag, surrounded by a piece of thick cardboard, and has a thin hairnet around it.
My socks! Just for everyday wear really, i just thought they were cute >.> The lace is scratchy but the sock itself is very soft and comfortable to wear, and thicker than i expected
Here is the wig:
Looks realistic enough to me from the top - the netting isn't visible through the parting due to a skin coloured insert. It is a little thin at the back but i don't foresee that as being a problem, the hair net and my actual hair colour is black.
The curls are lovely, they are messy with flyaways but i like it that way, it looks more real. And they bounce nicely :D

And here's me wearing it...with no makeup after just getting out of bed :x I look awful, but concentrate on the wig xD I'm also wearing the dress :D
If anyone wants more pictures of the wig i would be happy to provide them, as i know not many people have bought these wigs and some of you are curious about the quality.
All in all i would say, you get what you pay for. This wig probably isn't for seasoned wig wearers, but as my first wig i think it does the job nicely. It is a bit shiny, but this is without any attempts to dull the shine with talcum powder. (can you even do that on a black wig?)
Onto the dress- Again i apologize about the photos, i did my best and took the dress outside. My pictures are bad and do not reflect how lovely this dress is :3
It came with a detatchable bow...and my doggy modeled it :3
The first thing that struck me about this dress was the quality of the material - its nice and thick and not shiny. The shape is lovely with lots of room for poof.
Some of the lace around the collar is a bit scratchy, the buttons are beautiful :)
This is my only problem with this dress - the lace around the bottom of the arm is really scratchy, not very nice. The frill on the top around the shoulder is lovely and soft though. The arm is quite tight around the bottom as well, and my arms aren't very big...

Overall, i really love this dress :D No pictures of me wearing it yet, but there will be some soon!
The only problems are the scratchy lace on the sleeves, and it is smaller around the bust than stated on the site, but luckily it still fits me. I'm very happy with it overall :) I would happily recommend it.
The dress also came with a hat, but its nothing special. The flower is cheap looking but it is detatchable, and for some some reason there is traces of gluegun residue on it. The lace is also scratchy. I prefer bows anyway so this isn't a big deal to me.
Altogether....
Shipping - 5/5 - Only took about 4 days to reach the UK and tracking was provided
Quality - 4.5/5 - You get what you pay for, only a few minor faults
Communication - 4/5 - Had a few problems getting my tracking number but i got it
Overall - 4.5/5
