I feel safe posting it here. She checks the same sites as I do sometimes, but I know she doesn't know this one ^^

Here's the story:

- We've known eachother for ... 11+ years

- I'm into girls

- She's not into girls

- She's my best friend

- We're together almost every single weekend

- I'm over my head, madly in love with her. 

- She's going to an artschool this year - A place where I can't visit her. 

- She already has her eyes on a guy at this school. 

What should I do? I'm afraid she'll hate me if I tell her. 

I don't think she'll freak out if you tell her you're gonna miss her :) You're friends. She must still want to see you too even tho she leaves for school. I bet you can work it out, even if you can't see each other so often you can talk in phone :)

(I'm not sure there's any point telling about you being madly in love with her since you're so sure she's into boys ._.)

You never know.. She may be into girls also but just hasn't told anyone because she was afraid..

I think that you should tell her how you feel. I'm sure that since you both are so close, she will accept you and respect your feelings no matter what.

I'd tell her, just gently. Don't rush in and spill your guts, or anything. Let her know that you'll miss her so much because she's more than a friend to you. That you love her, even though you know she has feeling for someone else. Like FameMonster said, you never know  would you rather take a chance or always wonder "what if?"  i support you, girl. Go for it 

if you arent a 100% sure she's not into girls , you shold tell her.
but if you are, then telling her is one thing but you have to get over her and move on
cuz even if straight girls fool around , in the end of the day they want a guy and it doesnt worth the heartache it might cause you.

Maybe you can drop subtle hints, say things that are slightly flirtatious and see how she reacts? If she reacts good or flirts back its probably in the bag. This probably wont work much but I hope that it does work out for you!

I think you should tell her.

You wouldn't be happy if she left and you didn' tell her how you felt about her.

And maybe she will think about it. (:

Well I sorta have the same dilemma with you. Except my crush isn't someone i know for 11+ years xD nor is she my best friend. But since she's your best friend, i'm sure she won't do anything bad to you if you told her. And plus, if you don't tell her, then your won't you regret it once she moves away and your chances of seeing her are slim? Just tell her. Are you absolutely sure shes into guys? She could be bi like me~ she can be those people who might come to realize they like they're best friend who is a girl and you become the one exception. The possibilities are endless~ 

Ive been down this road before and from experiance i would avoide telling her your madly in love with her it hardly ends well when their your best friend or if you do decide to tell her do it very very carefuly because something like this can end friendships but i wish you luck with whatever you decide.

Aww, well everyones given the advice so I wish you luck..If you wanted another opinion though, I'd say tell her that you want to be able to see and talk to her still.. and that you like her as more than friends because if she goes away you will always regret not telling her and if it doesn't work out, it should be okay because she won't throw away a best friend of 11+ yrs and you'll be able to atleast get this off your chest. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide, I hope things work out well. (:
