Hello everyone!! 
I was hoping you could help me with a little something, please. I'm going to a convention in two weekends time (19th, 20th June), and I'd like to make a school uniform to wear - pleated skirt and a neck-bow. I have no problems with that, it's just that I can't decide what colours to choose for the skirt and bow! ARGH! The colours always seem to be rather randomly put together but they always work well...
BTW, I am NOT talking about a Seifuku (e.g. Lucky Star style)!!!!! 
With the outfit, I will either where knee high white socks or knee high black socks with black shoes. I only have one cardigan suitable, and it's navy....so whether I wear the cardigan would depend on the colours of the skirt and bow I guess.
I would like to make the skirt out of tartan fabric, but I only have the boring choices of: Red (with Green pattern), Blue (NAVY) (Green pattern). I was originally thinking Red Tartan Skirt with a plain Red Bow, but I think that seems a little too much colour co-ordinated and not...authentic enough?
My second thought was the Blue Tartan for the Skirt and still plain Red for the Bow (perhaps with this outfit the navy cardigan would look good?).
THEN, I thought...a plain Navy Skirt with a plain Red Bow... but I think tartan would look better....
I really don't know what to do! Please suggest some colours to me!!!!! They don't necessarily have to be tartan, as I have limited choice anyway. But I would like the colours to be....hmm...realistic, if you know what I mean - but feel free to suggest wacky colours too if you wish!!! It might change my mind.
Just tell me your opinion pleaseeeeee
