accessories like cute hairclips and stuff: your local HM store, the childrens section : D but well, yeah.. if you ask me, i would say de cora is all about the layers. I would kinda set my mind on a colourscheme that would look good together - or shade maybe.. since many colours can work GREAT together if they are the in the same shade.. eh, yeah. and then i would look for parts of clothes that would work with the picture in my head, and buy a little from EVERYWHERE : DD. - also mixing stripes with dotts and well, the like. hope that helps :3

Yea, I am going to be truthful about it. You do NOT need any brand clothes to do decora. Some of the things you should have in mind though would be petticoat//tutu skirts, stockings (bright, solid colors look better than rainbow stripes), hairclips (which are found at Claires, Walmart, Target, H&M, or anywhere else for that matter). Make sure not to mix colors too much- stick in a certain theme. Example: If the shirt you want to use is blue, use varying colors of blue but do not go too far out with it. White would also be okay with that (black and blue, not really friends). The best thing to do is to look at pictures, show us one you love, and then we are better off helping you. We also kind of need to know your body type and hair as well so we can tell you what would look best. :)

Walmart accessories and childrens sections. They have so many cute things and hairclips, necklaces, bracelets there often come in color coordinated sets! <3 Just hunt around Salvation Army/ various thrift stores for cute clothes! Decora doesn't have to be expensive! Also get creative, Cutoutandkeep.net has simple tutu's, jewelry, hair and makeup tips and tutorials on how to make your own stuff as cutely, simply and cheaply as possible! Good luck and enjoy Deco-chan in the making!

When I did decora I bought the little make our own bracelets thingy like from walmart and stuff. You first have accesories that no one else has and you can be proud that you made them too, And they come in lots of pretty patterns and pastel colors like hearts, teddy bears, kittens, and flowers :).

It sounds like you live in the west, most likely the USA? I suggest places like Claire's and Hot Topic. Flea market also good(or any place that is likely to sell Asian import) You could also learn to make your own. If you have a ChinaTown, AsiaTown, KoreaTown, or LittleTokyo near you, I suggest checking out places around there. Any type of Asian community or shop stretch. And just about everywhere should have something that would fit.
If you want to shop online, ACDC Rag(the only place they sell online is Rakuten), Listen Flavor(westerners can order Listen Flavor through CD Japan easily), RTBU(eBay), and handmade-market websites like Artfire and Etsy.
I even sell a few handmade decora items in my shop, if you want to check it out! :DD http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/PastelDreamStar
