I've had in mind to make a guro loli outfit! Please share tips, ideas and pics if you have! I've never done a guro before.
I want to have bandage over an arm or leg. Should i place the bandage on top of the socks or should I leave the socks?
Are guros dressed in white only? (i have no intend to put fake blood all over my dress)
I want my outfit too look more like a broken doll rather than nurse covered in blood if you know what i mean ^^'

I think you should put band aid on one leg and wear tights on the other. It reminds of this girl Ruby in The Path, a Little Red Riding hood game i play. She has and injured leg and wears this kind of metal harness to be able to walk. She's my favorite character. She's not a lolita but might be inspiration

I would think, if you put your arm in a sling, and maybe wrapped up the opposite knee, and then like an eye patch bandage, it would look perfect Also yeah, I think they do wear all white. I think your blonde wig would be perfect for that outfit as well ^-^

No, Guro Lolis are not all white. My Profile picture is guro Loli and it is one my favorite. I agree I think arm in a sling and a wrapped up opposite knee would be ok. I am sorry I don't have any other guro pictures but my own. But if you go to sdcon.com go under Affiliates then click on Black Hills Asian Appreciation Society there will be pictures on the left hand side there will be pictures click on the 2 girls that have white dresses smeared with blood and black hair. That is all Guro Lolita. Oh one more thing I forgot. When we did Guro it was suggested to us to bloody up an old apron. Just a suggestion. Hope that helps ~Michiko

These are the basic guro loli outfits... Hope it helps ^^ Maybe you can make a basic guro loli outfit but then skip the blood :) You can still wear the bandages and maybe something that looks "old" and torned ^^''

Ok, so I found a few links.....the first site comments on how if you don´t want to splatter your clothes with blood....you can splatter a cute little apron with blood instead (aprons are convenient and easy to make! :D). It also confirms that Guro Loli doesn´t necessarily mean you have to go in all-white.: http://www.lolitafashion.org/guro_lolita.phpThis other one comments on the makeup....like maybe you should make fake scrapes or bruises or whatever....how an accessory could be a "bandaged teddy" or about the eyepatch accessory: http://community.livejournal.com/egl/3083322.htmlHere´s a video on youtube with a few pics of Guro lolitas....they´re all wearing white and blood splatters, but you can take notice of and be inspired by the different places they´ve put the bandages or by the cuuuute injured teddy bear one of them has.... :) Even the hairstyles, which seem either long and straight or in pigtails. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyJeIEeN-yEAnd I also found a group discussion on EGL that talks about the same topic (from who knows when XD): The possiblilty of a Guro loli outfit without using bloodstains: http://community.livejournal.com/egl/11817949.htmlAnd to round up, teo images: A guro loli NOT in white, and without blood, and one that isn´t wearing white, but does have blood... Truthfully, I think that Guro Lolis usually wear white because it´s the color that would contrast most with blood, and call attention to the "injury"...... (forgive the size, I don´t know how to resize them) And I found one that gives off more of an "injured doll" look, which is what you´re going for, right? But sadly, it´s white:

@ancafeL0VE Those girls looks all shiro lolita to me... splattered in blood... Maybe I got guro all wrong... Oh well.. here's my attempt: I did have some ideas about broken, rusty or darken silver jewelry, but I don't have any ^^' I also think i need a offwhite dress or beige. Mine is too pure white, i wanna look more like an really old porcelain doll. Guro is groteque. Broken bones or blood. I don't think this is my cup of tea to be honest.. I'm prefer a twist. Old broken antique doll. An eye that fell out many years ago, a joint that cant be moved any longer, a dress that once was white, a lost shoe, a rusty necklace.

Aw you're very pretty on those pictures. Wearing all white looks really good on you. It puts the focus on your hair, face and necklace. I like it! And I like that broken look too. Covering pretty dresses in blood is not my thing. Bandages look a lot better! Blood covered lolitas remind me of psychopath girls who kill people, since it doesn't seem to be their own blood. Wearing bandages shows that you've had a painful past but that your heart can still be good like lolitas always are.

Thank you so much Piddy ^^ This made me lol " Blood covered lolitas remind me of psychopath girls who kill people, since it doesn't seem to be their own blood". You're so right! It's like against nature in the life of lolita to be like that XD
I was thinking maybe I should try it with bare shoulders. That also gives it a sphere of being vulnerable. Oh, you express yourself so beautiful with your words, Piddy, "Wearing bandages shows that you've had a painful past but that your heart can still be good like lolitas always are".

Haha I'm very glad to hear that someone likes my words! I noticed today that I'm a lot more interested in guro loli then I thought. But then I mean your style of guro loli of course. I'd like to cosplay the girl on the pic I uploaded and then I could use a leg brace like she has and bandages and stuff. I got so many ideas! Too bad I don't have the money! I'd love to see more pics of you as guro loli in the future!
