This is my Japanese Hakata Doll collection (Hakata dolls are Japanese hand-crafted dolls or ceramic, porcelain, or clay)! I only four. The little left-most doll is a petite Blythe doll. I love Blythe dolls. I hope to get more, especially a full-sized one. The third doll from the left, or the second small doll, is a ddung doll. This is an adorable Korean iconic doll.  My most left Hakata doll has a kimono of real cloth and doll's hair. My two tallest ones are hand-crafted and hand-painted (not by me) and my small white little doll is the most delicate ceramic/porcelain one, which one of my best friends got me for my birthday last month.     I love them all like they are real sisters or children to me. ^^;;

I named each of my dolls. My dolls' names, from left to right in the photo: Maddybear, Soon Hee (Sunny), [Ai Mei] Jung Nara, Hana-sama, Peng You (Kohana Tomo-sama), and Haru-sama.   I got Hana and Haru first of the Hakatas--they were destined to be the big sister guardians of my next doll, Maddybear (Miss Macaroon petite Blythe), and then of Sunny and Kohana. ^_^

Below: Beautiful Hana-sama; Haru-sama's sister. She and her sister are Hakata dolls. They watch over petite Blythe doll Miss Macaroon.

This, below, is the ravishing Haru-sama. She is always on guard of baby sister Macaroon with her sister, Hana.

"Known throughout Japan as "Hakata Ningyo" [ningyo means doll in Japanese], Hakata Dolls are prized for their delicate, enchanting beauty and unmatched craftsmanship." -dollsofhakata.com/index.htm

"Japanese Hakata dolls are ceramic dolls depicting nobles, samurai, beatiful women, bijin and geisha and working people." - jcollector.com/Hakata-Dolls-s/24.htm

I hope you enjoy! hehe..I love my dear dollies... ;) xo SweetWarrior

thanks effa ^^ i'll tell her you said that hehe

oh i forgot to answer ur question kyutie about where did i get them...

hana- and haru-sama are from a garage sale actually ^^;

people around my neighborhood were selling some of their "oriental theme living room" goods to make a new theme i guess. Jung Nara is from a street stall in New York City, set up during fourth of July, before fireworks :) and Kohana/Peng You/Tomo-sama is from my friend who probably bought her in Chinatown either in NYC or in Brooklyn, New York. My baby Maddy Blythe was bought from Toy Tokyo in NYC also, and ddung Soon Hee was bought in a little Korean Jewelry store called Hottie in NYC too, as a big cell phone charm, poor baby--I had to take the hook out of her lil head. hehe.

some time not long ago they sold ones like Jang Nara in a simple supermarket around where I live, surprisingly--in the sushi foods section xD lol. 15-25 dollars each i'd say ;) but they are much more over net, like around $60, if i remember correctly.. ^^ thanks again!
