I know many lolitas takes inspiration from magazines like Gothic & Lolita Bible and our fashion icons are often models for our favorite brands. Some of us expand our idols to be japanese lolitas seen in japanese snapshots and/or with blogs to share their latest outfits.

But how about non japanese lolitas? Do you have a lolita idol from another country that you admire incredibly who is probably not a famous model?

Tell us! :)

Another great inspiration to me is a girl named Carolina from Brasilia. She's also a experimental lolita and she has such an amazing eye for details!

Here's her MAF profile, her Lookbook and her blog.

Well, I don´t have a lolita inspiration yet, since I´m really quite new to lolita. My cosplay inspiration is Pikminlink, but that´d be off topic....

I like your outfits best, though, Zeruda, I love looking at your "what I am wearing today" outfits. :) Your outfits are the ones I look at most regularly as far as lolita goes, at least, hehehe.

I was wondering, what´s an "experimental lolita"?

Thank you ^^

Well experimental lolita is a lolita that doesn't completely stick to the "lolita rules". They tend to bend the rules and create very amazing self invented lolita styles taking inspiration from other styles and interests. While many lolita dress in one brand from head to toe an experimental lolita mix and match both brand and off brand in quite amazing combinations. They also tend to invent new color combinations and different type of materials for their clothing. They are not afraid of throwing something into and outfit that has never been considered as lolita before :) Yet when they wear it it suddenly feels lolita ^^

Another great inspiration to me is Kammie. She's from the US. She's the most colorful girl that i know of! She often mixes lolita with decora in very awesome ways. Like all my favorite girls she plays with lolita somewhat outside the rules and she does it so perfectly! *_* She also makes very nice accessories :)

Here's her LJ and her Flickr

I would like to share with you this beautiful girl, Kamalia! She's from Sweden. I used to read her blog. I don't anymore, but I still think she has a very nice sense of style. She's more into classic, gothic and aristocrat.

Here's her blog
