The Yamagata Tetsudo railway is a small railway that runs into the heart of rural Yamagata in northern Japan. This tiny little railway is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Japan.

Running maybe once every one or two hours, don't expect to easily get anywhere fast, however you can expect to find many nice little flower parks and a lot of relaxing mountain air. And now the tiny railroad company has added another little attraction. Mocchi, their little white bunny station master. You can go vist her and her bunny freinds at Miyauchi station, two stops from Akaba onsen station on the Yamagata Tetudo railway.
