The story is about Yip Man, a martial art hero and legend in China. In times of war the Japanese want to recruit Yip Man to train their army in Yip Mans extraordinary and most successful Kung Fu. But Yip Man refuses to cooperate, he use his power and skills to stand up for his people and protect his country and his loved ones.

This is not just a movie with fighting and no story, and I really came to like this movie. (for your reference I didn't like Fearless at all which is a very similar movie). I was really moved when Yip Man takes the time to learn the factory workers some Kung Fu so they can fend for themselves when bandits are threatening them.

The production is well done, and really enjoyable to watch and the acting is good. Absolutely worth watching.
