This movie is directed by Mamoru Hosoda, known for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

The story is about Kenji Koiso, a young math genious who gets invited by his friend Natsuki Shinohara to her great grandmother 90th birthday party with a whole bunch of friendly and extraordinary characters. One night Kenji receives a strange message on his phone, believing is a math problem he spends the night trying to track it - and succeeds.

Soon his face is all over media, wanted for a terrible crime. He cracked the security code for the worlds largest virtual world without knowing it! And this is now causing mass mayhem throughout the world by an AI. It's up to him and the Shinohara family to stop the AI before it's too late



Now this movie really touched my heart. This giant family gathering with so many characters will just melt you heart! Makes me wish my own family was bigger! And if you think your own big family isn't that special at all, it's probably because you have never tried to save the world together before! ^^
