What I noticed between Korean and Japanese Fashion.

Korea and Japan are fairly close to one another.  I think it takes about less than 3 hours using an airplane.

Korean Fashion seems like it is quite similar to Japan, but its much milder.  I noticed that the aim of Korean fashion is to look cute but not overly cute.  Japan has a different approach, theirs is somewhat 'take it to the extreme' level.  Take for instance, the 'Ganji' fashion, it seems similar to Decora but much less colors and accessories.

One style that I can compare Korean Fashion to Japanese Fashion is the 'Ginza Girl' style.  Ginza Girl style is more mature-looking wearing super brand names such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, etc.  The style is very simple, and it is work appropriate (its something you would wear for a casual work attire).

its true that korean fashion is much more sedate compared to the extremes of japanese which can be overexcessive purposefully and have very big differences that one can easily see even if categories of style overlap. good pointing it out. true of ginza girl. still, over the top, to be brand fashion though.
